I grew up wanting to be a photographer and just as I was getting good enough to make a go of it as a career I suffered a nearly life ending illness. As a result of that illness I lost my eye for photography and with it a little piece of the person I thought I wanted to become.
I began painting as a result and found a new way to be creative and express myself.
I consider myself an experimental painter who without any formal training isn’t held back by rules or conventional thinking. My artwork incorporates several different techniques and a multitude of materials.
